                                              School Mission Statement

                                              Our mission is to educate students in a challenging, international environment leading to academic achievement at the highest level; to develop social responsibility, creativity, initiative and enthusiasm, which will provide each student with the best preparation for future opportunities.


                                              Background and Accreditation

                                              SCIE was officially established in 2003 with the approval of the Shenzhen Education Bureau as a full‐time high school teaching an international curriculum. SCIE is accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), delivering IGCSE, AS and Advanced Level (AL) courses to full‐time students. SCIE is a member school of Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), College Board, and is a fully accredited member of the Council of International Schools (CIS).

                                              SCIE admits students through an rigorous assessment process instead of the Senior High School Entrance Examination, Zhongkao. Because of this, SCIE is able to attract a population of students from all over China. Situated in a city that is at the forefront of economic development, SCIE is able to provide a truly progressive educational experience.
